Restaurant of the Month - August 2020

August was an exciting time for me as I was actually able to get out and explore for the first time properly since the pandemic! Although I did not get to as many places as I would have liked, the venues that I went to I thoroughly enjoyed. Picking my 'restaurant of the month' was not an easy task as each venue brought a lot 'to the table'. However, I feel based on my overall dining experience The George and Dragon in Chipstead deserve the win. With all the struggles of the new policies and rules following the ongoing pandemic I feel that The George and Dragon exceeded all expectations.

Not only was the quality of the food excellent but I also based my decision on the fact that the staff went above and beyond to make their customers feel safe and bring an atmosphere to the restaurant. The business also exceeded expectations in the COVID-19 safety measures. A huge thank you from me to the team and know that I will be back again to visit soon!
